Infrastructure Planning is a combination of multiple disciplines considered mainly for policy making and integrated planning. Land use, transportation, energy, industry and other construction projects are greatly inter-reliant. Prolific outcomes could only be obtained if a holistic picture is available and that is where Infrastructure planning comes into play with combination of planners, engineers, sociologists and economists.

For development of any city, along with building constructions some of the basic infrastructure—transportation, communication, sewage, water, and electric systems are obligatory. Several of such projects has been managed by experienced intellectuals at IGRI along with associated partners. We have done few projects in redesigning of transportation routes, surveying and installations of pipelines, Industrial hazard zoning and site suitability analysis etc.
