Land use map acts as a base to any project may it be environment, infrastructure, socio-economics or mining sectors. we have two decades of experience of Land use mapping and its impact analysis. At a initial stage land use mapping seems to be a simple mapping project, however there are various intricate issues associated with it like identification of the features of satellite images, orthorectification prior to mapping, issues associated with demarcation of appropriate notified boundaries of industrial estates, forest areas etc., published standards of terminology, data formats and levels at which all features are to be considered based on required scale and associated (MMU) minimum mappable units, all these needs to be addressed properly before finalizing any land use maps. Experts at IGRI are capable of understanding and resolving such issues at the initial stages of projects.

Our Track Records:

we have a track record of more than 150 land use mapping projects in various sectors like environment and its impact analysis, infrastructure, natural resource, mining, forest, socio-economics etc. we are also one of the speaker/resource person at Quality Council of India(QCI), National Accreditation Board for Education and Training (NABET) for Landuse and Hydro-Geology for their workshops related to Environment Impact Analysis.
